This model shows a water wheel that I designed to be connected to the SDG Goals. The goals that are connected are Clean and Affordable Energy, Climate Action, Life Underwater, and Sanitizing Water. The first three goals are the goals that Innov8inc focuses on. The last goal, Sanitizing Water is one of the goals in Massive Dynamic and is an extra goal that I wanted this project to be connected to, outside of the Innov8inc goals. I have used a ruler to define my model and make it more neat and easy to understand and I mentioned small important parts of the project and showed it with an arrow in the model. I also discussed my project with Mr. Johnson during class to explain how my project would work and why they connect to the four SDG goals.

Phase 2 Briefing
Empathize: The first step is to empathize. It's when you analyze and understand the problem. It is like putting yourself in someoneโs shoes or anythingโs shoes, one way or another.
Define: Defining something is identifying what's going on and understanding the situation. But to understand, you have to find what it means.
Ideate: Ideate is creating ideas and solving the problems you define. This is the brainstorming phase. You explore different methods for how the mechanism/company/object will work and function. You are the one to come up with the idea and not using other's work as in copying, but you can use it to help your's improve.
Prototype: A prototype is like a model of the final thing you are going to create. It's a bit like a sketch. You are exploring the ideas you have while ideating and making an object out of them. It is like a rough draft in a way, anyway. In rough drafts, you go through it quickly, but of course, you have to make a final draft, which comes in the implementing step.
Test: Testing is related to prototype because in a test there will always be a prototype to test. Testing something is experimenting if it works and seeing what improvements could be made. This has to do with materializing because you are testing the object/material that you will soon be implementing.
Implement: Implementing is promoting the re-developed prototype and marketing it: Ads, billboards...This has to do with materializing because you are promoting the object/material.
All these 6 standards connect to the Design Thinking process because for CO.1 you are creating new ideas and putting personal experience into your work. Which is ideate and Prototype.Because you are brainstorming and previous knowledge into play. The second standard: R.1 is analyzing and researching the meaning of what we're doing which is Empathize and Define.Because you're analyzing and researching the problem. Finally, R.3 means to convey meaning using the language of Arts and Design in our project which is Implement and Test. Because you are projecting your prototypes and Ideas into the actual final phase wish is testing and finally advertising your object/company into the real world.

Team Building part 2
Preview to "Brand Identity course/Checkpoint Alpha"
In classcraft there are three different types of characters: mage, guardian, and healers.
Each character has unique abilities. For instance, healers can use their points to heal others or themselves, whereas mages can use them to regenerate crystals, and finally guardians can use their points to protect others.
On a team, it is very important to have a balanced amount of guardians, mages, and healers. This is because each one of them have special abilities! For example, Guardians can block damage but they canโt heal others, and mages are the only ones that can replenish crystals which makes all three of them necessary for a strong and capable group. This is why my team decided to have two of each type of character, in order to create balance.
In classcraft, Powers give students special privileges not only in the game itself but also in class. To use your powers you need crystals, which slowly regenerate over time! Once you have enough crystals you will unlock your first ability (Power). Some powers can help you whereas other powers can benefit another person or even your whole team. Make sure to help one another or else your balance can break. It's very important that you use your crystals in a smart way, this is because if someone else is in need of your help youโll have to have enough crystals to help them out or theyโll take one for the team. Powers used to help one another are called Universal Powers! When a student activates these abilities they will gain some experience points because they put others ahead of themselves.
Each student needs to keep their character as well as other teammates' characters in good health! This is an important thing to keep in mind because if one person dies you also lose health since you're all part of one team. Letโs say a healer was to die, the remaining one would struggle to keep everyone at full health which could result in more people's health being put in low numbers. One way students can lose health is by having a negative behavior that ruins the learning experience for themselves and others. Doing this can lead to a penalty or pledge. The outcome of the pledge will negatively affect you and any other of your fellow teammates. Which means that you should simply stay on your best behavior! However, if a penalty is issued or failure occurs, it is expected that you rise up again and never give up! Further on your path you may come across challenges but you must remember you have powers and teammates to help you overcome them.
Gold pieces (GP) are a special currency in classcraft. GP is used to buy gear for their character. Students automatically gain GP when they level up.
Students can unlock Pets which they can train for a certain amount of time. Training the pets helps the student gain more (GP).
The Troubleshooting Guide will help teach you the tips and tricks to be used in DIX like how to publish your e-portfolio. This can be a very nice trick, unless you want to lose all your hard work! Make sure to pay attention to all the tips!
There are four lines of defense for troubleshooting. The 1st line of defense is using yourself. This means you use critical thinking to solve your problem. This is something everyone should start doing because the people who rely on themselves are the most resourceful people! The 2nd line of defense is reaching out to 3-7 peers for help, especially teammates. In any team you should always trust your teammates because teams are built on trust. The 3rd line of defense is asking an instructor because usually they just know best. Finally, the 4th line of defense is IT. This is when nobody knows how to solve your technical issue, not even the teacher, and the only one who can help you is IT!
DAY 3 AGENDA
Bellringer:
Discuss the key points of day 2.
Answer final "Would you rather" question.
Lesson/Activity:
In this next section of the Network Forum we created our characters and met with the peers in our group. We learned how you'll automatically earn Experience points when you show put others needs in front of your own. Everyone should be able to be happy with their roles. We get crystals that'll regenerate daily. Your health points will also regenerate daily. Along with the Experience Points we will also earn Gold Pieces.
I learned the different rules and standards of Design and Innovation, and I also just learned what the exact meaning and deep meaning of art and design.
